The THS Student Group meets today at lunch in room 102!

The 1st Saturday Session for the tutoring center is THIS Saturday, 2/23, 11am – 1pm.  Also the tutoring center has extended it’s hours 8am – 5pm during the week.  Come visit!

A huge congratulations to the Thurston Coed Cheerleading program! JV placed second in band dance, and first in both fight song and crowd leading at the OCCA Championships. And your varsity coed cheer team are the 2019 State Champs!!! Not only did they win the title in the large coed division, but they also won the creative choreography award. The team’s win this weekend truly shows that T Town stands for Title Town! Way to go colts!

Thurston State Swimming results:
Whitney Murray got 6th place in 200 Freestyle
Ellie McMasters got 8th place  in the 500 Freestyle
Girls Relay got 10th place
Austin Ackerson got 9th place in the 100 backstroke

Intramural’s is back THIS Thursday and Friday. This month’s competition is Brain Bowl. Brain Bowl is a 2-person team, trivia competition that test your team’s knowledge on a wide range of categories such as pop-culture, history, survival skills, etc. The competition will be using the interactive app “Kahoot” on a projector screen in the Library so that teams can track their scores and position in real time.  Each team must consist of 2-people from the same grade level. Prizes will be awarded the winners of each grade level and also for the “Overall Champion”. Intramural events are always free. Find a partner and sign up using the QR code on the posters or banners around campus or sign up in Student Services. Questions see Mr. Taylor
