Wednesday, Dec. 11th, Thurston will host Seth Revoal of Revolution Design Group in another of our Lunch & Learn series. Come grab some Track Town pizza and listen to Seth about how his firm uses social media in their marketing and branding efforts. It will be very interesting! Sign up in the College and Career Center with Ms. Auxier. The presentation starts at 11:15 in Room 104. Space is limited to the first 20 students.

Seniors, you will be ordering your caps and gowns for graduation in January,  but first you must  pick up a graduation packet in the Counseling Center starting on today, December 5th.   Stop by Counseling before school , after school or during passing time.

Attention THS Well Water Testing Team: Our next lab session is on Wednesday morning. Please meet Stephanie in the lab by 8am. Donuts provided. We will be finished by lunch.

Seniors! Your Sr. Pictures must be received by the yearbook staff due by Dec 20th.  The year book staff will use your registration picture if one is not turned in. All directions are on the Thurston website if needed.

Attention THS Habitat Team: Your next field session is NEXT Tuesday. Please dress very warm for the weather and don’t forget a lunch, a water bottle, a bag to carry your things in and extra socks. Donuts provided. See you on Tuesday! Meet Stephanie in room 135 by 8am.

The UO SAIL program is hosting a holiday luncheon for THS SAIL Students on Tuesday, December 10th. If you have ever participated in the UO SAIL program you are invited. There will be food, door prizes, music and holiday cheer! Should be a lot of fun! Please sign up to secure your spot in the College & Career Center.

ATTENTION:  All boys interested or curious about playing lacrosse this Spring.  There will be a brief informational meeting TODAY, Friday at 11:15 in Room 133.

Hey Sophomores, Jr’s and Sr’s!  NHS application are now available in the Counseling Center.  You must maintain a 3.5 or above GPA and be willing to demonstrate a commitment to service and good character.  Applications are due Jan 10th of 2020 so, be sure to pick up an app today!

Students – Are you here after school to catch up on homework or practicing a sport and don’t have a way home?  Springfield Schools and Thurston High School has an activity bus that can take you home.  The bus meets in the bus loading zone at 5:20PM

Thurston & Springfield are going head to head in a FAFSA Completion Challenge. The school with the most FAFSAs completed by Feb. 1st wins. Losing school provides a celebration to winners. Thurston 30.7% and Springfield 28.7%  Let’s Go Colts!

Freshman can now sign up in the CCC for the Freshman Group Mentoring Lunch which will be on Wednesday, December 11th. 

Sign up is now open for our CTE lunch mentoring group. We will have Amy Burbee here from LCC to discuss apprenticeships. Students interested in going into an apprenticeship and learning more about this opportunity should stop by the C&CC to sign up. Space is limited so be sure to sign up as soon as possible.
