Hey Colts!  Today is Friday!  Every Friday Thurston likes to celebrate R.E.A.L Colts.  After a random drawing from our Colt Compliment cards todays winners are:

Come to the SkillsUSA meeting on Monday in room 141 during lunch.  It’s time to choose the skill that you will take to the State Conference in March.  We will also be nominating candidates for club officers. SkillsUSA is a club for everyone!

Attention seniors! There will be an informational meeting for the Mr. & Ms. THS pageant on Tuesday October 15th at 6pm in the library. If you have an interest in helping your community, fundraising for people in need, or being more involved at Thurston High School please come and get details and learn how to apply for this great opportunity.

Athletes interested in playing softball next spring come to the office and pick up an off-season workout schedule and information sheet.

October 23rd Swim Parent Meeting in library at 6pm

Winter Sports registration will open October 14th!  The cut off to ensure you are clear if everything is completed correctly is November 6th. The entire registration is completed Online.  Information can be found on this link  http://www.thurstonathletics.org/main/adnews/ID/42206131  or you can stop by the Health Room and speak to Lisa Minium/Athletic Secretary with any questions.

Attention Juniors and Sophomores the PSAT will be taking place Oct 16th!
Registration for the PSAT has started and ends TODAY Oct. 11th.
Juniors & Sophomores can register NOW The cost is $16 dollars, please pay with Mrs. McDaniel before school, at lunch or after school in Student Services and bring your receipt to Mrs. Morris in counseling to receive your Student Guide.  If you need assistance covering the cost, please come in and see your counselor!
We only have 80 spots that will fill up quickly! So please don’t forget to sign up!

TODAY is the Homecoming Game and TOMORROW is the Homecoming dance, Under the Sea is the theme, October 12th from 8-10 pm. Ticket sales has started and will be sold until TODAY, October 11th for $15 dollars. Tickets will then be $20 dollars at the door. Pick up your Homecoming guest passes after school in Student Services.
