SkillsUSA is a partnership of students, teachers and industry working together to ensure America has a skilled workforce.

Skills USA is a national nonprofit organization serving teachers and high school and college students who are preparing for careers in trade, technical and skilled service occupations.  It was formerly known a VICA (Vocational Industrial Clubs of America)

The club was established in 1965 and was known as VICA.  The purpose of the club is to create among students, faculty members and business partners a sincere interest in and esteem for trade, industrial, technology and health occupations.  To foster a deep respect for the dignity of work.  To promote high standards in trade ethics, workmanship, scholarship and safety.
