Our plan of instruction continually emphasizes growth and development through communication skills, knowledge and appreciation of literature, awareness of diversity, and examination of self. The English Department lays a foundation for success in many areas of the student’s life by focusing on composition, literature, reading, critical thinking, listening and speaking skills.
