Equestrian Team (OHSET)

Members of Thurston’s Equestrian Team competed last weekend in Redmond at the State OHSET meet. Thurston brought home 2 state titles and placed in the top 10 in various other events.
4 team members, Seniors Meagan Duncan, Alison Miller & Kenzie Wagner and Junior Taryne Gormley repeated their title as State Champs in the Canadian Flags event. Alison and Meagan placed 1st place in the Birangle event, while Kenzie Wagner and Brooklyn Burrell placed 10th. Alison placed 2nd in Individual Flags, 3rd in Barrels and 8th in Figure 8. Kenzie placed 6th in Keyhole and 12th in Poles.

Members of your Thurston Equestrian team are headed to the state OHSET meet in Redmond this month (May 10, 11 & 12).
Three seniors, Alyson Miller, Meagan Duncan and Kenzie Wagner will all be competing in individual and team events. While juniors Brooklyn Burrell and Taryne Gormley will compete in team events. Thurston is the defending state and regional champions in the Canadian Flags team event.
These athletes along with team members, sophomore Kaylee Chapman & Olivia Gannon and freshman Josi Artemenko all had a great season competing in three local meets.
